common sense for the common good is our approach to social and political activism in the kingdom
here are some ideas to take action on
-
Local Common Good
Here are some ways we can act to make sure local, state and federal policies support the common good of the Northeast Kingdom. We stand for fully functional state services, excellent educational opportunities for social equity and a robust and diversified local economy that supports small farmers and business people while protecting the natural beauty of the Kingdom.
-
National Common Good
We believe that the good of the Kingdom depends not only on local power but also on our national policies. We believe in a non-partisan approach to politics that maximizes personal freedom of speech and action and unifies everyone around common sense initiatives for the common good.

Global common good
We understand ourselves to be like living cells in a much larger social and ecological body. This deeply ecological perspective means that we are in fact “living globally” because our lives depend on a global community of living beings. We believe that that rule of common sense can only occur when local empowerment is combined with global identity, awareness and cooperation.
